    Position Summary

    The Housing Coordinator supports corporate operations and the local site teams (leadership and field) by managing housing, travel, and per diem logistics. This role is responsible for maintaining a current inventory of housing options, coordinating accommodation through local providers and General Contractors (GCs), and ensuring seamless transitions as project and staffing needs change. The Housing Coordinator also oversees team travel arrangements and tracks per diem compliance to support efficient, cost-effective project execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Housing Coordination

     

    + Maintain an accurate, up-to-date list of available housing options in each project area and through GC-provided resources and independently acquired options.

    + Maintain organized records of housing assignments, travel bookings, and per diem tracking.

    + Source, evaluate, and coordinate housing accommodations including apartments, houses, extended-stay lodging, RV sites, and work camps.

    + Partner with project managers, field leadership, and GCs to align housing plans with project schedules and workforce needs.

    + Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, extensions, and housing changes as crews mobilize or demobilize.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for housing-related issues for field teams.

    + Ensure housing solutions meet company standards, budget guidelines, and safety requirements.

     

    Travel Coordination

     

    + Coordinate all travel needs for low-voltage construction teams, including flights, rental vehicles, and ground transportation.

    + Communicate itineraries, lodging details, and changes clearly to field personnel and corporate stakeholders.

    + Adjust travel plans to accommodate project delays, schedule changes, or emergency needs

     

    Per Diem & Expense Management

     

    + Track, verify, and document per diem eligibility and daily rates for field employees.

    + Ensure per diem records align with company policy, project requirements, and payroll standards.

    + Coordinate with payroll, accounting, and project management teams to resolve discrepancies.

    Qualifications

    + Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail

    + Experience in housing coordination, travel logistics, construction administration, or workforce support preferred

    + Familiarity with project-based or low-voltage construction environments is a plus

    + Ability to work effectively with both corporate teams and field personnel

    + Proficiency with spreadsheets, tracking tools, and basic project management systems

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to changing field conditions

    Preferred Experience

    + Workforce or temporary housing coordination.

    + Corporate Travel experience.

    + Travel booking and per diem administration for field teams.

    + Working with large field teams, 200

    + + Corporate trailer onsite, office-based role supporting multiple team members.

    Work Location and Travel:

    On project site daily with up to 10% travel
