Are you passionate about digital technology, AI, and automation? Join us this summer as a Packaging Research & Engineering Intern focused exclusively on building and implementing advanced digital solutions within our global packaging network. As part of the Design and Digital team, you will accelerate our digital transformation by creating digital tools, including AI agents, chatbots (using platforms such as ChatGPT/OpenAI), and automation workflows that enhance packaging research, collaboration, and operational efficiency. Projects may include developing and deploying AI-powered research assistants to automate packaging data collection and analysis, and creating Power Platform apps and SharePoint solutions to improve team productivity.
What You'll Do for Us:
+ Design, develop, and deploy digital tools and AI agents (including chatbots with platforms like ChatGPT/OpenAI) to automate and enhance packaging research processes.
+ Build, configure, and maintain PowerApps, SharePoint sites/lists, and Power Automate flows for collaboration and knowledge management.
+ Create example projects such as an AI-powered packaging research assistant to automate data collection and reporting.
+ Document technical solutions, maintain project records, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with packaging researchers and digital professionals globally.
+ Support team training and onboarding for new digital tool adoption.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025.
+ Demonstrated experience or coursework in programming (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.)
+ Proven ability to build and implement digital automation or AI tools (e.g., chatbots, workflow agents, machine learning models; experience with ChatGPT/OpenAI or similar platforms is a plus).
+ Experience configuring and deploying solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint) or equivalent digital platforms.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work in a collaborative, remote, or global team environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience deploying digital solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) (Preferred).
+ Familiarity with integrating APIs, connecting data sources, and using cloud-based services (Preferred).
+ Skills in UI/UX design for digital tools (Preferred).
+ Basic understanding of research methods or data management workflows, especially packaging-related (Preferred).

Compensation:
+ Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506
+ Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
Dates of Internship: May 18 - July 31, 2026
