**Job Title:** 2nd Shift Feed Mill Technician

Department/Location of Position: Smithton, MO

**Starting Pay:** $21.35/hour

JBS Live Pork Smithton is looking for a full time 2nd shift Feed Mill Production Technician.

This position is part of an excellent team that is responsible for manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.

Responsibilities include:

• Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers. Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.

• Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.

• Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.

• Keep accurate, legible records.

• Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S.

• Good math skills.

• Good mechanical aptitude.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Computer knowledge.

+ Monday – Friday, occasion weekend work may be necessary

+ Any other duties assigned by management.

Preferred:

+ Prior experience in feed milling

+ Ideal candidates should have above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity
