2nd SHIFT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

+ Compare pick list to sales orders to ensure accuracy (pick list is prepared by truck loader).

+ Print preliminary manifest, final shipping manifest, and Bill of Lading.

+ Communicate with adequate departments about incoming/outgoing loads.

+ Compare the weight of product being shipped to the scaled weight of the truck to ensure the product on the truck is in the expected weight range.

+ Keep track of truck seals (manual).

+ Prepare export documentation.

+ Establish good working relationships with the USDA and Shipping Department.

+ Daily, weekend (Saturday & Sunday) may be required.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally.

+ Excellent computer skills required.

+ 1-2 years of office experience.

+ High School degree or equivalent required.

+ Associate or bachelor’s Degree in applicable field preferred.

+ Can perform the functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
