• 3rd Shift Order Picker

    Description

    *Must be able to train for 3 weeks on 1st shift *

     

    Job Summary: Responsible for assembly product for individual orders and loading on trailers for shipment.

    Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

    + Receive load packet with pick tickets from load coordinator

    + Hand out pick tickets to pickers

    + Use Shop Floor system to locate product

    + Use forklift/high-lift to pick the product (use proper age dates when picking order)

    + Scan the picked product to the order

    + Wrap each pallet using an automated wrap machine

    + Fill out proper paperwork(Talley sheet, seal tag, pallet report(Costco).

    + Load assigned trailer in order of shipment stops and to meet weight requirements

    + Work in a safe manner

    + Follow Food Safety Guidelines

    + Follow Housekeeping Procedures

    Qualifications:

    + Ability to operate high lift/ forklift in a safe manner

    + Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices

    + Must pass certification to operate a high lift/forklift

    + Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. consistently throughout shift

    + Ability to work in environment of 28 degrees

    + Ability to operate scan gun

    + Ability to operate Shop Floor system

    + Ability to operate automatic wrapping machines

    + Understanding of the logistics of loading a trailer
