    _What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health_

     

    Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

     

    Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

    _Responsibilities_

    + Execute key deliverables for monthly segment results and variance drivers

    + Participate in development of annual segment budget and strategic financial plan (SFP)

    + Prepare quarterly segment forecast, including drivers and analysis on variances

    + Execute key deliverables which contribute to the Operating Committee materials and Finance slides for CEO staff meeting

    + Collaborate with Investor Relations team in development of quarterly external messaging and materials for the segment

    + Partner with Strategy and segment teams, contributing to quarterly Board of Directors materials for the segment

    + Assist in developing segment calendar of deliverables and work closely with BU Finance teams to ensure timeliness and accuracy of materials

    + Partner closely with Medical Segment BU Finance teams to understand the drivers of the business

    + Own and maintain key aspects of the segment Admin expense budget, forecast and drivers, including collaborating with Corporate on allocations

    + Partner with Enterprise team to manage segment deliverables

    _Qualifications_

    + Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred

    + 4-8 years' experience, preferred

    **Anticipated salary range:** $80,900 - $115,500

    **Bonus eligible:** No
