The Psychiatric Social Worker I is responsible for providing thorough and clinically appropriate social work interventions including psychosocial assessments, person-centered treatment planning, psychotherapy, crisis interventions and family/collateral engagement. Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work is preferred. CSW should be pursued as soon as eligible. A master’s degree in a closely allied field may be acceptable dependent upon experience and qualifications. An individual with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience working with individuals with acute mental illness may also qualify. Responsibilities: • Provide a thorough psycho-social assessment that includes social work interventions and discharge recommendations for each patient assigned. • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team planning for each patient. • Coordinate discharge planning for post hospitalization care, • Provide therapeutic interventions • Utilize supervision to problem-solve any clinical or administrative issues. • Complete required documentation • Participate in program improvement initiatives as appropriate. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $ 24.75-$36.53 /hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
