    We are looking for a kind and detail-oriented Behavior Technician to join our Behavioral Services team! In this role, you will help implement behavioral plans, support staff training, track progress, and make sure programs run smoothly. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values communication, teamwork, and person-centered care!

     

    Quick Facts:Location: Greater Danbury Area (Local travel may be required)Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week

    What You’ll Do:

    + Support and help carry out individualized behavior plans

    + Monitor treatment and provide feedback to staff and clinicians.

    + Support staff training and help teach new skills

    + Create program materials and support teaching strategies.

    + Collect and organize data to help track progress and program outcomes.

    + Participate in team meetings and collaborate with internal and external partners.

    + Assist on special projects and perform other duties as needed.

    Qualifications Required:

    + High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

    + 2+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury preferred.

    + Knowledge of positive behavioral supports and applied behavior analysis preferred.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    A Day in the Life:

     

    Your day might include observing staff as they carry out behavioral plans, helping clients practice new skills, supporting clinicians with activities, assisting with staff training, and contributing to team meetings and program development. You could be preparing materials for a fun learning activity, or helping track progress to celebrate achievements.
