• Scanning Technician

    TEKsystems (Baton Rouge, LA)


    TEKsystems is searching for individuals that are willing to provide Scanner and Document prepping in the Baton Rouge area.

    Description

    Candidates will be responsible for traveling between multiple office locations within their assigned region to support the digitization of child welfare documents. Viewing sensitive content is a daily part of this position. Travel will be based on the location of physical files requiring scanning, and candidates will follow the workload accordingly. Reliable transportation is required, as frequent travel between sites is an essential part of this role. Scanning/Doc Preppers will be reimbursed for any mileage that is over 1 hour or 50 miles away in the region they support. The standard mileage reimbursement rate for business use in Louisiana for 2025 is $0.70 per mile (70 cents per mile).

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Experience working on a large-scale scanning and documentation project

     

    Practice in quality assurance and control

     

    Handling of secure documents

     

    Knowledge of transferring hard copy data into a digitized format is a plus

     

    Excellent documentation and communication skills

     

    Ability to work collaboratively with Stakeholders and team members

     

    Ability to manage project timelines effectively

     

    Strong problem-solving skills

     

    Reliable Transportation

    Smart Phone – for communications with team

    Must be local to region. Travel costs: mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 50 miles or 1 hour from home base ($0.70/mile) one way OR for travel exceeding 100 miles or 2 hours from home base.

    This is a Contract position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
