We are seeking a skilled Directional Drill Locator to join our team in supporting the installation of underground telecommunications infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain locating equipment to track drill head position and depth during directional drilling.

+ Communicate effectively with drill operators and crew to maintain proper bore path and avoid conflicts with existing utilities.

+ Perform pre-job site inspections and verify utility locates.

Qualifications

+ Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in directional drilling or underground utility locating preferred.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency with locating systems (e.g., DigiTrak, Subsite) and understanding of underground utility construction.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and utility maps.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
