• Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer

    SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY)


    Job Summary:

    Performs patient ultrasound testing related to prenatal screening and gynecological conditions based on the patient's plan of care. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Graduate of certified ultrasound program with RDMS certification required, plus one year of ultrasound experience. Current CPR certification required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

     

    *New Graduates will be considered for appointment to entry level (SL1) position at a commensurate salary. New graduates who are not currently RDMS certified in OB/GYN will be required to become certified within 1 year of appointment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required."

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound preferred. Experience with GE Voluson equipment and EPIC EMR a plus.

    Work Days:

    Monday - Friday Day shift
