    Amazon (Austin, TX)

    Description

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Come help the AWS Marketplace and Partner Services (AMPS) team revolutionize how software is discovered, bought, sold, and deployed in the cloud! AWS Marketplace is the premier digital catalog enabling millions of customers worldwide to find and purchase software solutions from thousands of independent software vendors (ISVs), while empowering partners to build, scale, and grow their cloud businesses on AWS.

We're seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of transformative experiences across our marketplace and partner platforms. This is an opportunity to shape how enterprise software is bought and sold at global scale, working on both sides of our marketplace—designing intuitive buyer journeys that simplify complex procurement workflows, and creating elegant partner tools that help ISVs manage and grow their businesses.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will own end-to-end design for significant product features and experiences that impact millions of customers and thousands of partners. You'll lead design from concept through execution, partnering closely with product management, engineering, business development, and marketing to push the boundaries of what's possible in B2B marketplace experiences. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment while delivering exceptional design at enterprise scale.

    Key job responsibilities

    - Lead end-to-end UX design for major features and experiences spanning buyer discovery, procurement, deployment, and partner enablement, ensuring solutions are intuitive, scalable, and drive measurable business outcomes

    - Transform complex B2B workflows—including procurement, licensing, contract management, and partner operations—into coherent, human-centered experiences that build trust and accelerate adoption

    - Create compelling design visions using artifacts spanning high and low fidelity—user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes—that effectively communicate detailed interaction behaviors and drive consensus across teams

    - Analyze buyer, seller, and partner problems using market research, customer feedback, usability findings, and data to create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements

    - Influence product direction and feature prioritization by partnering with product managers and engineering leaders to identify opportunities where design innovation can transform customer and partner outcomes

    - Contribute to cross-service design standards, interaction models, and pattern libraries that ensure consistency and quality across the AMPS portfolio

    - Work closely with engineering teams to bring experiences to life: provide design specifications, review implementations, and ensure quality through delivery

    - Present design work to cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and leadership for review, feedback, and alignment

    - Mentor other designers, sharing knowledge and raising the bar for design craft, storytelling, and customer-centric thinking across the organization

    - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively prioritizing work based on business impact and customer outcomes

    A day in the life

As a Senior UX Designer for AWS Marketplace and Partner Services, you'll lead design for significant features that impact millions of customers and thousands of partners worldwide. You'll own the design process from discovery through delivery, creating user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications that set the standard for marketplace and B2B experiences.

You'll collaborate daily with product managers to shape roadmaps and with engineers to solve technical challenges. You'll conduct design critiques, gather feedback from stakeholders, and iterate rapidly based on user research and data. You'll regularly present your work to senior leaders, translating customer and partner insights into compelling design solutions that solve complex business problems. You bring an "anything is possible" mindset when faced with ambiguous challenges, and you thrive in a mission-oriented, collaborative, high-energy environment. You're proud of your experience and expertise, but you're also a lifelong learner with the humility to continually grow and reinvent your approach to problem-solving.
