Description
The Senior Delivery Manager will lead the delivery team working directly on global series, including original productions, co-productions and acquisitions. They will collaborate on delivery budgets and schedules, solve internal and external challenges, and ensure that content is turned over on time and on budget.
The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for escalating issues and suggesting effective trade-offs between delivery timelines and studio release plans.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage the Series Delivery team.
- Manage the on-time and on-budget delivery process of Amazon MGM Studios series, ensuring the creation and delivery of all files listed on the delivery checklist.
- Negotiate delivery schedules with outside studios, producers, and production companies.
- Collaborate closely with Series Post Production, Localization, Marketing and Delivery Team senior leaders to support cross-team processes and initiatives.
- Actively manage QC process for assigned titles, including issue assessment and mitigation.
- Supervise external vendors to ensure a timely and on budget delivery, with the ability to expertly advise on technical specs and QC processes.
- Escalate technical or operational issues with delivery timelines that might impact studio release plans.
- Lead process and technical innovation initiatives to support customer needs.
- Contribute to ongoing changes and updates to technical delivery specifications.
About the team
The Global Delivery team is responsible for ensuring that all Post Production Deliverables for Amazon MGM Studios’ content are received, adhere to technical specifications, follow mandated file naming conventions and pass Quality Control (QC).
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of episodic and film workflows technical experience
- 10+ years of budgeting, scheduling and technical workflows experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, UHD, HDR, and film workflows
- • 5-7 years of experience as delivery, mastering or media asset management
- • 5-7 years of experience with quality control and creation of domestic and international deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- • Strong relationships with established vendors for DI, sound, mastering, and QC
- • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- • Experience in a studio-like organization with an emphasis on streaming platforms
- • Experience with legal documents and contractual language
- • Working knowledge of digital delivery products such as Aspera and AWS tools
- • Knowledge of sound, dialogue, and music editing and mixing workflows
- • Experience with deliverables and distribution
- • Experience working in multiple countries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
