Description
Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon's next multi-billion-dollar business?
It's Day 1 for Amazon's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite initiative, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Senior Financial Analyst to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, thinks and acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement solutions, processes, and controls.
As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting LEO's Global Long-Range Planning (LRP) team, you will play a critical role in translating LEO's strategic investment roadmap into financial insights that guide executive decision-making. You will support the development and maintenance of LEO's consolidated 10-year global financial plan—a roadmap that consolidates inputs from 150+ country P&Ls and informs capital prioritization, global expansion strategy, and long-term partnership and deal evaluations.
You will contribute to initiatives that shape LEO's competitive positioning and investment strategy: building financial models and analyses that inform long-range visibility and scenario planning; supporting the financial analysis behind entry into new businesses and market opportunities; and driving operational efficiency by partnering on the design and deployment of financial systems and controls that enable faster, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Success in this role requires you to partner with and influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. You will collaborate with all types of stakeholders—from VPs and Directors to Program/Project Managers and other Finance Managers—across multiple business units within Amazon. You are comfortable leading analytical projects with high ambiguity, creating robust processes to track and manage complex financial data, presenting findings to business leaders, and pivoting between defined financial rhythms and ad-hoc project analyses. You use judgment to prioritize high-impact work that maximizes results for key stakeholders while helping solve complex problems that affect company-wide decisions.
This role demands strong financial modeling capabilities, the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources, comfort with ambiguity, and a relentless commitment to simplifying complexity. You will have the opportunity to work on analyses that inform C-suite decisions and shape LEO's future.
