Description

Product management at Amazon requires cross-functional leadership. As a portfolio owner, you will make data-driven product decisions and collaborate with business teams, leaders, and dedicated User Experience (UX) design and engineering teams. In our agile environment, you will:

-Design and build integrated planning systems that handle complex workforce scenarios

-Create intuitive interfaces that make sophisticated planning accessible to business leaders

-Develop AI-driven recommendations to guide strategic workforce decisions

-Partner with Finance, HR, and business teams to revolutionize workforce planning

About the team

We're building Amazon's enterprise-wide workforce planning solution that transforms how leaders align their talent investments with business needs by creating a unified, trusted data platform. Our team integrates historically disconnected systems and data sources to enable leaders to model, plan, and evaluate workforce decisions in real-time, using embedded intelligence to guide them toward optimal talent decisions. Working closely with Finance, PXT, and business teams, we're creating a comprehensive planning ecosystem that helps ensure Amazon has the right people in the right roles and locations to serve customers effectively.

Basic Qualifications

- 6+ years of team management experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
