Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead Amazon's global Third-Party (3P) fee strategy for upstream and inbound services related to Selling On Amazon. Our 3P business includes Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) channels. With Sellers contributing to over 50% of Amazon’s online sales, 3P Fee strategy is integral to Amazon’s ability to deliver on its goal of offering a vast selection of products at low prices to customers.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical background, track record of effective business partnership, and ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. The candidate must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to understand topline and cost drivers, and deliver high quality insights to senior leaders to influence fee strategy.
This is a highly visible and strategic role with exposure to a Vice President and Directors.
Key job responsibilities
- Support inbound fee strategy, cost reporting and analytics, and fee revenue forecasting
- Develop financial models and advanced analytical tools to identify fee optimization opportunities and influence fee decisions
- Lead ad hoc analytics projects to guide fee strategy and data science work
- Support long range planning and quarterly revenue forecasting for Marketplace fees
- Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business.
- The domain includes Value Recovery Fees across Removal, Disposal and Liquidation. The role involves extensive coordination with multiple operations, regional finance, and fee strategy teams, and will support WW marketplaces.
A day in the life
As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with multiple business teams including fee strategy, fee science, product, economists, and operations, to shape the monetization of our 3P business. You will be responsible for identifying growth and profit opportunities, and partnering with the business teams to develop fee strategy for a global multi-billion dollar revenue line.

We have a tight business partnership with the WW Fee Strategy team where working groups organically coalesce to tackle big problems and opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
