Overview
The Sr. Manager, People Strategy Partner will play a critical role in shaping and executing the people strategy aligned with the business unit’s goals and objectives, while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities. This leader will act as a strategic advisor and partner with senior leadership, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and talent strategies.
Responsibilities
+ Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that enhance business performance and achieve organizational objectives.
+ Establishes trusted partnerships with senior business executives and builds a high level of business acumen to influence and drive talent strategies.
+ Proactively understands external trends and business needs to influence the best people and business results.
+ Uses workforce strategy data and analytics to influence and guide strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with people and business goals.
+ Embeds a high focus on change management, communication and collaboration in all that they do. Partnering closely across the HR team and broader business to execute key strategies.
+ Enables strong partnership with HR COE partners including ER, TA, Comp, Talent and Workforce Effectiveness to deliver HR and Business initiatives that drive effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Leads with data and insights to inform decisions and strategies.
+ Leads, develops, and inspires People Strategy Partner(s) to deliver strategies that achieve targets and objectives.
+ Assesses, builds, and leads a strategic and effective PSP team to scale with the business and aid in the company’s overall success. Participates and actively contributes to the business plan and strategic direction of assigned market teams and business units.
+ Develops and leads the efforts of all direct reports supporting the business unit towards specific departmental goals and objectives.
+ Ability to manage through ambiguity and change leadership while leading the organization through transformational change.
+ Leads with an innovative mindset to continue to evolve the People Strategy function driving process optimization, continued focus on scale and leveraging AI.
+ Establishes a team culture of inclusion, excellence, impactful results, and strong partnership.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
+ 8+ years of progressive experience in HR business partnering, organizational development, or people strategy roles.
+ Experience leading and developing high-performing teams preferred.
+ Proven experience working with executive level leadership and influencing at all levels.
+ Strong knowledge of talent management, organizational design, employee engagement, and change management.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
+ Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $119,900 to $188,400 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
