In
this role, you set up and operate advanced machining equipment, including
horizontal and vertical milling machines, CNC machines, and speed mills. You
are responsible for meticulously ensuring precise measurements and performing
first article inspections on parts to maintain high-quality production
standards. Your day involves a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving
to ensure the seamless operation and accuracy of complex machinery.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
+ Operatehorizontal and vertical milling machines, CNC machines, and speed millsaccording to provided instructions or work packages.
+ Use variousprecision measurement tools to check machined dimensions, verify tolerances,and perform first article inspections on parts.
+ Set up andprogram parts applying “G” Code to write machining programs specific to eachpart.
+ Exercisejudgment to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding the sequence of setups,operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standardmethods and procedures.
WhatYou Bring
• High School Diploma or
GED equivalent required
• Machinist certificate or
equivalent experience
• Completion of a
machining apprenticeship is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading
blueprints and shop mathematics.
• Proven experience
operating horizontal and vertical milling machines, CNC machines, and speed
mills.
• Successful
applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary
function tests as required to perform the duties.

Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines
