UPMC's Physician Services team is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Practice Manager to support our Northern Gastroenterology team at our Wexford clinic (5500 Brooktree Road, Suite 201, Wexford, PA 15090). This full-time, daylight role offers the opportunity to step into a _high-impact leadership position_ within one of the region's leading health systems.

You'll guide a team of approximately 30 direct reports, lead workflow optimization, and shape an exceptional patient experience. Key Highlights of the Role:
+ Lead and develop a diverse team, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), surgery schedulers, check-in/check-out staff, and office scheduling teams.
+ Oversee complex provider scheduling for both in-office care and GI lab operations to ensure optimal coverage and continuity of care.
+ Drive operational excellence by managing patient flow, daily clinic functions, and cross-team coordination.
+ Serve as a critical liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams, and leadership to foster seamless communication and collaboration.

Travel Requirement:
To support business needs across the Northern Gastroenterology service line, travel to other locations-including Northern GI satellite sites, UPMC Passavant, and additional regional clinics-will be required.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a proactive leader with strong communication skills, proven operational management experience, and the ability to stay organized in a dynamic clinical environment. Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems is strongly preferred, as it is essential to managing schedules, workflows, and reporting in this role.
Responsibilities:
+ Manages daily operations at physician offices and clinic sites and coordinates work activities.
+ Manages schedules and call-offs.
+ Ensures office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
+ Manages all functions of the financial and patient management system at physician offices.
+ Ensures compliance with all system-wide/departmental policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality, as well as compliance with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health, etc.).
+ Integration of new physicians into CMI practices.
+ Monitor and meet practice specific benchmarks inclusive of point of service and scheduling (inclusive of template management for timely patient access), if applicable.
+ Works with senior management to prepare budgets and ensures operations are aligned with organizational objectives and meets performance and budget objectives.
+ Develop and maintain a patient-centric culture, centered around patient arrival and follow up activities in line with the consumerism initiatives, if applicable.
+ Recruits, hires, train, and supervises assigned personnel in satellite facilities, including responsibility for performance evaluations, merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions of staff.
+ Identifies and resolves work problems to ensure quality patient service.
+ Communicates effectively with senior management and physicians providing regular updates on operations.
+ Bachelor's Degree + 3 years of management experience w/ 1 year healthcare experience
+ OR Associate's Degree + 3 years healthcare experience and 3 years of management experience
+ OR High School Diploma + 5 years healthcare experience and 5 years of management experience
