UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Southside is seeking a Supervisor of Behavioral Health Therapy to support our Acute Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents. Our programs serve teens experiencing acute symptoms of depression and anxiety, providing structured, short‑term treatment designed to stabilize mental health and divert individuals needing psychiatric hospitalization.
In this leadership role, you will guide a clinical team delivering evidence‑based care rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Our programming emphasizes not only clinical skill‑building but also meaningful, positive patient experiences that support emotional regulation and engagement. Adolescents participate in therapeutic activities such as our Mindfulness Garden, a calming outdoor space designed to promote grounding and reflection, and Matt's Maker Space, where creative, hands‑on projects help build confidence, problem‑solving skills, and self‑expression. These experiential components complement our therapeutic approach and help adolescents connect with treatment in ways that feel supportive, empowering, and developmentally.
