    Status: Flex Full time (28-40 hours/week)

    Shift: Variable shifts, primarily days & evenings, with occasional nights, including rotating weekends & holidays. Typically, 8-hour shifts.

    Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate and lead patient groups and activities

    + Facilitate or co-facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic activity groups

    + Document care accurately in the medical record per established policies

    + Complete patient observations as ordered, following all guidelines

    + Encourage and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

    + Complete 1:1 meetings with assigned patients to assess current status

    + Provide clinical interventions based on individual patient needs

    + Manage crisis situations using positive, therapeutic approaches

    + Demonstrate effective milieu management to promote a safe and positive patient experience

    + Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment

    + Accompany patients to off-unit activities and appointments

    + Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and maintain ongoing communication with appropriate staff

    + Perform assigned work in a timely and productive manner

    + Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) required; other degrees considered with at least 12 Human Services credits

    + Mental health experience and group/individual therapeutic activity experience preferred

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to provide direct physical care to unpredictable behavioral health patients, including lifting, supporting, and moving equipment

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    + Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer

    + Act 34 clearance required
