Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
+ Lead a team of specialists responsible for learning management, template development, tool implementation, and area-specific design application needs.
+ Build and maintain a functional organizational structure for design technology operations.
+ Hold regular execution team meetings, design application leaders updates, and drive communication on design application user forums.
+ Mentor team members to grow into future system managers to match the growing complexity and user base.
+ Moderate high-level discussions to resolve technical conflicts and maintain alignment with company priorities.
Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
+ Develop and deliver clear communications to leadership and stakeholders regarding progress, capabilities, and timelines.
+ Ensure transparency and confidence in the rollout of new tools and workflows.
+ Promote inclusive design practices and guard against bias in system development.
Workflow & Process Optimization
+ Oversee the integration and standardization of design application platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) across the firm.
+ Continuously refine workflows for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely support for project teams.
Vendor & Technology Management
+ Maintain awareness of vendor capabilities and pricing structures.
+ Guide vendors on how to best support the firm’s needs.
+ Negotiate pricing and approve invoices in alignment with budget and strategic goals.
+ Evaluate emerging tools and features for potential adoption.
Quality Control & Documentation
+ Ensure deliverables meet firmwide standards and project requirements.
+ Maintain documentation for CAD standards, workflows, and best practices.
+ Oversee version control, file management, and coordination across teams.
Qualifications
+ 8+ years of experience in CADD design and production in the AEC industry.
+ Proven experience managing CADD systems and teams, with expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools.
+ Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
+ Excellent understanding of design workflows, file management, and BIM/CADD/GIS best practices.
+ Ability to resolve technical issues and moderate complex discussions.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary Range:
$145,000 - 185,000
