What You’ll Do as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
+ Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department while gaining valuable leadership experience.
+ Conduct regular rounds to monitor care delivery, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the implementation of solutions.
+ Support and enforce policies while coaching and developing nursing team members.
+ Manage administrative and operational functions to promote efficiency and quality outcomes.
+ Participate in an on-call rotation with other members of the leadership team.
What It Takes to Join Our Team
+ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Iowa (or ability to activate).
+ Current CPR certification.
+ Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations preferred.
+ A strong desire to learn, grow, and advance within a supportive organization.
