Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life. *Job summary:* Builds, repairs and maintains various facility structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions and other components of the hospital buildings, using hand and power tools according to accepted trade practices and written and oral instructions. Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience 1 year carpentry experience Effective communication skills (written, verbal, listening) Ability to work with wood, metal, concrete, plastics & composite materials Knowledge of building materials and their uses Ability to maintain work job site safety and follow established safety rules and regulations as well as maintain a safe and clean environment Ability to operate various woodworking equipment, machinery and hand tools We take great care of careers.
