What You'll Do:

+ Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client location.

+ Provide professional customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies as they arise.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within a technology-driven environment.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policy.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities according to established protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary during incidents or emergency response situations.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or other critical situations in a professional manner.

+ Perform duties while armed, in accordance with all company and legal regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
