As a **Security Guard - School Reception Desk** in **Philadelphia, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will play a key role in providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to individuals entering the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into the building.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and incidents as required by site protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors to assist with inquiries or direct them appropriately.

+ Support emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
