What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.

+ Assist with implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and protocols.

+ Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or policy violations according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations or other procedures when appropriate.

+ Communicate and coordinate with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency services as required.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
