What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the residential location by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.

+ Assist residents, visitors, and guests by providing customer service and answering questions related to access procedures and site-specific protocols.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access or security-related incidents.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when appropriate, following company and site procedures.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and foster a sense of security for residents and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
