    As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Dispatch** in **Sterling, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and communicate with team members to help deter security-related concerns. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Monitor and manage communications from the dispatch center, coordinating responses to incidents and requests for assistance throughout the location.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information as needed to appropriate personnel.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting findings as required.

    + Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch communications, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.

    + Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as necessary.

    + Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel to support security-related operations at the location.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + Being at least 21 years of age is required.

    + Alarm panel experience is preferred.

    + CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
