    BASIC FUNCTION:

    Enforcement of previously introduced skills and implementation of daily classroom routines.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + To teach mathematics in a Career & Technical and Special Education high school setting.

    + The successful candidate will work as part of a team of educators to teach integrated math activities in the career & technical and special education programs using the co-teaching model set forth by the NYS and BOCES services.

    Job Qualifications

    + NYS teaching certification in Mathematics 7-12.

    + Some experience with Special Education students ideal.

    + Willingness and ability to embrace new challenges and ideas and to work as an integral part of a team.

     

    The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001
