    What You Will Do

     

    Consumer Cellular is seeking a proven sales leader to continue to grow and develop our Inside Sales organization. This is an amazing opportunity to build a team, establish a positive culture, and take a leading role within a successful and growing organization.

     

    The Director of Inside Sales is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. They develop and execute sales strategies, identify new opportunities, coach and develop employees and build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners. The Director of Sales also monitors market trends, analyzes sales data, and provides insights and recommendations to senior management. They may collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, to ensure alignment and maximize sales effectiveness. Additionally, they oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

     

    We are looking for a leader who can develop a team that will enjoy competition, love being a part of a high performing group, and possess a strong desire to succeed. The ideal leader will be able to grow our inside sales team into an organizational strength.

     

    The ideal candidate comes with a proven inside sales background and an established track record of coaching, developing, and inspiring top talent to reach their full potential. A defined strategy that includes utilizing optimal technology, defined KPIs, and detailed reporting requirements is required along with a clear execution plan to drive growth, professional development, and performance.

     

    You will need to reside within 50 miles of our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ as this role has the option of hybrid or onsite.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    + **Sales Strategy & Execution:** Develop and implement scalable inside sales plans, set goals (KPIs), and drive pipeline growth.

    + **Team Leadership & Development:** Recruit, train, coach, and motivate our inside sales leaders and reps; foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

    + **Performance Management:** Monitor sales data, analyze trends, report to upper management, and ensure goals are met. Identify training opportunities, process improvements, and technical enhancements to rapidly scale the business. Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and reporting become second nature and pervasive throughout the team.

    + **Process Optimization:** Refine sales methodologies, leverage CRM and sales technology, and improve our customer journey.

    + **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Act as a liaison with Marketing, Operations, and other departments to align efforts. Share market insights, escalate employee suggestions and feedback to address customer needs.

    + Some travel between local and regional offices required.

    Job Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.

    + 8 years of experience managing inside sales teams.

    + A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management and leading a department with teams across multiple locations in a call center environment.

    + Ability to work in a dynamic environment with aggressive sales growth targets

    + Ability to navigate, collaborate and succeed across multiple functions

    + Intellectual curiosity

    + Data-driven problem solving

    + Strong analytical skills and data proficiency.

    + Expertise in CRM systems and sales methodologies.

    + Excellent leadership and coaching abilities

    + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

    Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)

    + Minimum Salary: $132,300

    + Maximum Salary: $198,450

     

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
