    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Test Conductor/ Principal Test Conductor** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located in **Palmdale** **,** **CA** **_._**

     

    Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? At Triton Production, we are seeking a dedicated and innovative Test Conductor or Principal Test Conductor to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Triton platform, from subsystem integration to full system testing. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our advanced platform in the areas of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, flight control, landing gear, and sensor systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct comprehensive production testing at various integration levels

    + Troubleshoot and resolve test anomalies efficiently

    + Update and refine test procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency

    + Actively participate in Test Readiness Reviews and test-preparation briefings

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless test progress

    + Coordinate test schedules with Air Vehicle Managers, Plane Captains, and Manufacturing Managers

    + Support overtime and adapt to off-hour schedules as needed

    Basic Qualifications for Test Conductor:

    + Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 2 years of experience; OR Master of Science degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.

    + Experience in unmanned aircraft and aircraft systems

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Willingness and ability to support 25% domestic and OCONUS travel

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (not required to start)

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    Basic Qualifications for Principal Test Conductor:

    + Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 5 years of experience; OR Master of Science degree in STEM with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 1 year of experience.

    + Experience in unmanned aircraft and aircraft systems

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Willingness and ability to support 25% domestic and OCONUS travel

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (not required to start)

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + FAA Airframe and Powerplant License

    + Mechanical and test experience on aircraft and unmanned aircraft

    + Prior test engineering experience on medium to large-sized unmanned aircraft

    + Experience testing RF, ethernet, and electrical cables

    + Experience with Teamcenter

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00

     

    Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
