Summary
The Lead – Equipment Logistics has daily oversight of an Event Tech warehouse team responsible for the processing of inbound and outbound equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be the driving force for operational excellence and adjudicating sound fiscal decisions to maximize profits and provide technical excellence of rental equipment. This position requires strong people leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Daily oversight of equipment logistics staff
+ Daily oversight and participation of equipment inbound activity through:
+ Assignment of daily tasks to staff
+ Processing returned equipment in accordance to policies and procedures
+ Sorting of inbound equipment, including Sub-Rentals and Equipment Transfers
+ Identification, vetting and entry of lost and missing equipment
+ Prioritization of work based on outbound needs
+ Daily oversight and participation of equipment outbound activity through:
+ Assignment of daily tasks to staff
+ Ensuring completion of equipment pulls
+ Assignment of staging space
+ Coordination with Quality Control, Inventory Control and Transportation on order needs, changes and readiness
+ Perform scheduled cycle counts as assigned
+ Support on-site additions in accordance to established policies and procedures
+ Training/development of warehouse staff
+ Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through all areas of operation
+ Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning
+ Promote teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations
+ Assists other department heads as needed
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
+ Minimum 3 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations required
+ Valid state drivers license required
