This Opportunity
WSP is recruiting for an **Emergency Management Portfolio Director** to work out of Columbia, SC; Arlington, VA; Raleigh, NC or Exton, PA.
This Federal Program’s **Emergency Management Portfolio Director** oversees all client management and business development aspects of the Federal Program’s Emergency Management portfolio, including management oversight of client and industry engagement, business development planning and strategy, pipeline growth, and delivery of complex, publicly funded emergency management programs.
The successful candidate must be a highly effective communicator with demonstrated strength in collaboration, client relationship cultivation, creative problem-solving skills and highly developed team building abilities. This person must have a proven public and private sector related record of large program strategic capture, innovation in policy and program delivery, strategic planning and progressive management responsibility. Position requires travel.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ A bachelor’s degree in business administration, emergency management, public administration, or equivalent.A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
+ 15+ years of public and/or private management experience in emergency management, program management, and/or business administration.
+ Proven ability in client relationship development, portfolio management, and capture management.
+ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with federal, state, and local agencies, and other professional emergency management related organizations.
+ A current International Association of Emergency Management’s Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certificate or state equivalent, and/or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is highly preferred.

+ Demonstrated competence in leading and influencing high-performance teams
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
+ You are a leader with a clear vision and strong ethical compass.
