The Role:
As the Partnerships Program Manager for X’s moonshot for the electric grid you will play a critical role in supporting a multi-disciplinary team through development of a new Platform, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage and drive the ongoing development of our tools and technology in collaboration with external collaborators. You will identify and prioritize risks in ambiguous, complex environments across both internal and external stakeholders. This position calls for someone who is highly-organized, a persuasive communicator, is passionate about early stage projects, and is comfortable with ambiguity.
Responsibilities:
+ Relationship Ownership: serve as the key relationship owner for multiple partner organizations, cultivating trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Work to maximize the value of these partnerships and ensure our partners are meeting their goals as well.
+ Program leadership: Orchestrate complex program delivery, owning the execution of critical workstreams from definition to sign-off. Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies across Engineering, Product, and our partners to help build AI-powered tools that solve real-world grid challenges on schedule
+ Commercial and operational strategy definition: Translate high-level partnership goals into actionable plans. You will determine partnership direction, manage contract deliverables, and establish the "rhythm of the business" to achieve these goals.
+ Cross-functional coordination: act as the translator between Tapestry’s teams and our partners' operational realities. You will facilitate discovery sessions and workshops that help our engineers understand user needs, provide insights and partner feedback to our teams, and help our partners adopt and deploy transformative new technologies.
You may be a good fit if you:
+ Have 5+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g., business development, consulting, program management, customer success, partner management, etc.)
+ Have a demonstrated track record of success owning and growing customer and partner relationships, especially at a startup or quickly-growing business
+ Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for detailed documentation of the project and progress.
+ Are a team player and creative thinker who is able to lead teams including engineering, business development, operations, and other cross functional groups, and vendors.
+ Are comfortable with complex software, technology and power systems topics.
+ Want to work in energy, sustainability or tackling climate change
+ Enjoy working in a complex, fast-paced environment and you have an entrepreneurial curiosity with excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
+ Are able to travel +/- 15% of the time

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000 - $196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
