    We are looking for a **Culinary Assistant/Server** to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in St.Louis Park, MN.

     

    + 18 hours per two week pay period

    + Early evening shift

    + Weekends as needed

    Responsibilities:

    Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:

    + Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.

    + Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.

    + Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.

    + Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.

    + Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.

    + Follows proper work flow to stay on task.

    + Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.

    + Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.

    Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:

    + Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.

    + Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.

    + Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.

    Required Qualifications:

    + less than 1 year experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High School Diploma

    + 1 year experience
