    As a **Security Officer - Residential Entry Control** in **Calabasas, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for residents and guests. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, allowing you to play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the residential community to help to deter unauthorized entry.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

    + Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.

    + Work collaboratively with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

    + Remain alert to surroundings and promptly communicate any suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate parties.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
