As a Patrol Officer at this healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols both on foot and by vehicle. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity.

+ Assist with emergency drills and respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance as needed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
