As a **Security Officer - Retail Unarmed Patrol Driver** in **Long Beach, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.

+ Interact professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to address questions, provide directions, and assist as needed.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required for incident response and/or emergency situations.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
