As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol** in **Manson, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a strong presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for any suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

+ Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

+ Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms as required by the post assignment.

+ Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required by Allied Universal and the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
