We now offer no frills! If you forego personal and vacation time and don’t enroll in health benefits, you can be paid $34.22 to $36.22 plus $7/hr shift diff on evenings, $3/hr shift diff on nights and $1/hr on weekends.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians to provide basic nursing care to patients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Provide basic patient care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.
• Administer medications and assist with medication management.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient assessments and contribute to the development of care plans.
• Perform routine procedures, such as dressing changes, wound care, and catheterization.
• Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.
Requirements:
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the state licensing board.
• Proven experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
