SUMMARY OF JOB
Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurses, the Maternal Infant Unit Technician assists nursing personnel by performing a variety of technical patient care activities, provides clerical support, functions as a transporter and assists with duties related to the operation of the Maternal Infant Unit. The employee in this position renders care to infants and women of childbearing age.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma/equivalent
CPR Certification
Knowledge of medical terminology
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pervious health care experience preferred
Basic computer skills desirable
Must be available for weekend shift in addition to working during the week.
