Please review the following job description:

The Head of Subservicing Oversight will monitor and manage third-party mortgage subservicers to optimize performance and ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and agency guidelines.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Vendor Management: Serve as Primary Point of Contact and Oversee the performance of subservicers to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.

2. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, often through dashboards and performance scorecards, to evaluate service delivery and operational efficiency.

3. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver detailed reports to senior management on performance, risk, and compliance issues.

4. Compliance and Risk: Monitor Subservicer and Internal Testing to ensure compliance with State, Federal, Investor, and Agency guidelines.

5. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance service workflows and customer experience

6. Delinquency and Default Management: Provide oversight of default-related activities managed by the subservicer, such as collections, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure.

7. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or breaches of service level agreements or guidelines identified through monitoring and audits.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.

2. 15+ years of mortgage servicing experience to include responsible risk management and strategic decision-making and ability to manage complex projects and initiatives

3. Minimum of 5 years of Mortgage Default Experience

4. Minimum of 5 Years of Mortgage Subservicing Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Excellent leadership, consulting, and communication skills, including the ability to lead direct and indirect reports and influence all levels within the organization

2. Excellent negotiation skills and highly collaborative planning ability, excellent diplomacy, tact, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills

3. Ability to think critically and strategically and drive change; capability of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently

4. Strong quantitative, governance, and analytical abilities

5. Ability to solve complex problems and drive structure through ambiguity

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide effective challenge to senior management and cross functional leadership

7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office technologies (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
