System Testing Engineering Manager, Google Distributed Cloud Hosted

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.

+ 5 years of experience in people management.

+ Experience with testing and Continuous Integration(CI)/Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) principles.

Preferred qualifications:

+ 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, C++, Java).

+ 5 years of experience with distributed systems.

+ Experience with compute technologies.

+ Knowledge of Kubernetes platform.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

+ Develop, execute comprehensive system test strategies that validate full functionality of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) airgap system.

+ Plan OKRs, align them with the organizational strategy.

+ Take responsibility in team execution, drive validation, automation efforts.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team members.

+ Maintain a healthy team culture that fosters growth and learning.
