    Overview

     

    This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company , supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures , including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades . Spirit Commercial ’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

    Responsibilities

    Location - Wichita, KS

    Key Accountabilities:

    + Represents Company to internal and external customers by providing a world class customer service experience

    + Includes but not limited to managing orders from placement, returns, credits, and any other issues for the life of the order

    + Works with all level of leadership and cross functional team to secure product needs for customers

    + Authority to access production systems for managing customer sales orders & suppliers through inventory systems

    + Responsibilities require internal coordination of contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing

    + Must be able to multitask under pressure

    + Can handle different priorities through effective escalation

    + Willingness to go above and beyond for the customer

    + Must be a team player and willingness to put the customer first

    + Areas are limited to commercial and military

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of related experience

    + Quoting experience

    + SAP experience

    + Experience with manufacturing or processing

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Preferred Experience:

    + Experience with supply chain and/or logistics

    + Previous customer service experience in aircraft or other manufacturing

     

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $61,800 - $94,750 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems’ Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
