    Job Summary

    + Perform various tasks assigned by Mechanical Engineers, Senior Engineers, and the Engineering Manager/Director.

    + Assist in producing detailed schematics for HVAC systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines.

    + Assist Mechanical Engineers by participating in job site surveys to gather as-built technical information.

    + Draft and develop layouts for mechanical systems based on direction from Mechanical Engineers.

    + Convert field surveys into usable formats for plan and project development. Use AutoCAD to develop plans.

    + Participate in the company’s project improvement process by maintaining/improving CAD Detail Library and CAD Standards and actively seeking out new CAD Drafting technologies.

    + Other duties may include copying/printing/scanning, assembly of equipment submittal packages, assistance in preparing work scope, and other tasks as assigned.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + 4 years of CAD Drafting experience with formal AutoCAD/REVIT Drafting training/certification.

    + Must be capable of making autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements and be able to manage multiple projects at any given time.

    + Possess a working knowledge of Permitting submittal requirements in the Mechanical field.

    + Computer savvy, actively learning new software programs. Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and other related software applications.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and work and communication with all departments within the Company.

    + Reasonable understanding of HVAC Systems and Components (Hot Water, Chilled Water, Condensing Water, Chillers, Fans, Heat Pumps, etc.)
