Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed **Part-time Journeyman Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC** . The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain a L secret level Clearance for this role. The schedule is: Wednesday - Friday **3** **:00pm - 11:00pm.** This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain

+ Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.

+ Perform preventative maintenance and service calls

+ Perform inspections

+ Supervise subcontractors.

+ Troubleshoot

Qualifications

+ **Must have a current Journeyman Electrician License (DC or MD)**

+ Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance

+ Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician

+ Must have a general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.

+ Must be able to read and understand blueprints,

+ Must have Troubleshooting skill

+ **Must be able to work the schedule of Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm**
