Job Overview
The Certified Hemodialysis Technician provides exceptional patient care and support to the care team, working closely with and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. This position will be based out of UMMC, but may require travel to other Fairview hospitals during the day to disinfect equipment. Mileage provided.
This position is a 0.2 FTE (16 hours every 2 week pay period), working 8-hour day shifts, every Saturday.
Required Qualifications
+ Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
+ Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician Certification issued by Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing Technology (BONENT) Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
+ Six months dialysis experience
+ Nursing assistant experience
