    Additive Manufacturing Production Technician

    Pay Range: $15-18 W2 hourly

     

    Duration: 6-12 months contract

    Job Description:

    The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for: rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling.

     

    + Removing support structures.

    + Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening.

    + Prepping machines for operation.

    + Material change overs.

    + 3D Printer operation and day to day maintenance.

    + Parts removal and cleanup.

    + Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds.

    + Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity.

    Skills:

    + Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years of prior related experience.

    + Experience working with basic tools(Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges)

    + Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

    + Basic knowledge and navigation of MSOffice (Excel/Word).

    Desired:

    + Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred, but not essential.

    + Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM.

    + Metal finishing techniques.

    + CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.

    + Understanding of materials, properties, laser welding.

    + Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent strongly preferred
