What You’ll Do:

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience for every patient. Your responsibilities as a Dental Assistant include:

+ Preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining dental equipment and instruments

+ Collecting patient health histories, taking impressions and X-rays

+ Ensuring patient comfort during procedures

+ Preparing dental materials (cements, composites, impression materials, etc.)

+ Assisting the doctor during treatments and emergencies

+ Charting treatment information accurately

+ Delivering post-op and oral care instructions

+ Maintaining infection control and patient privacy

+ Assisting with customer service and presenting treatment plans

What We’re Looking For:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred

+ Previous customer service or office experience

+ Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

Patient Care Hours:

+ Monday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

+ Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

+ Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
